Hello and welcome back to the Mental Wealth & Wellness podcast. I'm so excited that you're here for the short and sweet episode. I was writing some content for Instagram this morning, and as I was writing it I just felt this big urge to turn it into a short motivational podcast for you. That can come across as sort of like a pep talk because it's something that I've been working on for myself, it's something that I've been thinking a lot about with my clients with my students who have had a lot of, you know, doubts and fears and insecurity around posting content when they're brand new to a field, and feelings of, I'm not good enough, or I don't know enough, or I'm not there enough or I haven't been doing this long enough, bubble up for some, and not for others, and I know that this is a really really common thing when you're in the online industry, whether you're a coach or a service based...

Missing an ingredient in your business?

We're all on the hunt for the *secret* ingredient in our business, right? 

 

Well frankly.... I'm going to call bull*hit!

 

The only ingredient you need is CONSISTENCY.

REPETITION!

Showing up even when the doubt floods in.

Trying again even if you missed a few days.

Committing to your consistency is all that matters. Because when there is consistency - belief starts to grow. And when belief is nurtured your energy gets behind whatever it is you’re doing. It becomes charged!

 

If you stick to installing a new habit long enough - and actually give it a chance to stick (21 days to start a habit / 90 days to make a lifestyle change!) that resistance you once felt then will be replaced with an automatic response. A new neural pathway will be working FOR you.

You can do anything you set your mind to. All you need is consistency. For some folks consistency looks like accountability. Or reminders.
